Before we dive into goals, alcohol-free milestones, neuroscience, habits, or any of the practical tools that will absolutely be part of your alcohol exodus…
I want to tell you why this space exists.
Why it’s called True Vine.
And why it matters so deeply for the kind of heart-level transformation you’re longing for.
Why “True Vine”?
I’ve read John 15 many times, but recently these words landed in a way they never had before:
— John 15:4–5
No wonder we feel off when we haven’t spent time with Jesus.
No wonder alcohol, exhaustion, striving, or distraction leave us spiritually dehydrated.
No wonder connection feels patchy when we’ve pulled away from the Source.
These verses remind us of something essential:
Time with God isn’t a task.
It isn’t performance.
It isn’t pressure.
It’s abiding.
Staying attached to the Vine who already holds everything we need to heal, grow, and flourish.
A branch doesn’t hustle to produce fruit.
It doesn’t white-knuckle.
It doesn’t perform.
It rests.
It receives.
It remains.
And fruit, beautiful, Spirit-led fruit, simply comes.
For so many of us, alcohol became a substitute source.
We reached for wine for joy.
For rest.
For relief.
For connection.
For confidence.
For peace.
But alcohol never truly delivered. It numbed, distracted, or delayed what we were actually longing for.
Here’s the truth we gently relearn in True Vine:
The joy you’re craving
The peace you’re desperate for
The rest your soul needs
They were never in the wine.
They’ve always been in the Vine.
Sobriety becomes sustainable when it’s rooted in Jesus, not willpower.
True Vine is a Christ-centered, small-group coaching experience designed for women who want real freedom from alcohol and deeper intimacy with God, without striving, shame, or isolation.
It’s a place to abide together, stay rooted in Jesus, and allow transformation to happen from the inside out.
Inside True Vine, you receive:
True Vine is not about doing everything “right.”
It’s not about perfect streaks or polished faith.
It’s not about trying harder.
It’s about staying connected.
Connected to Jesus.
Connected to truth.
Connected to other women who are choosing freedom alongside you.
The evidence of transformation here isn’t perfection.
It’s fruit.
Love where there was numbness.
Peace where there was anxiety.
Joy where there was dependence.
Self-control that flows naturally, not forcefully.
Here’s what happens when you stay connected to the Vine:
The more time you spend with Him, the more you want to.
The more you know Him, the more you love Him.
The more you love Him, the more you trust Him.
The more you trust Him, the more you long to abide.
And everything you’re hoping for
Healing
Freedom
Clarity
Joy
Flows from that connection.
That’s where peace lives.
That’s where joy grows.
That’s where fruit multiplies.
That’s where sobriety becomes sustainable.
Not by our striving.
But by His sustaining.
